I was stationed in Montana and had a chance to visit Glacier and drive (not ride) highway to the sun (route 2). It's beautiful up there and worth the trip and ride. Yes, it can be very cold in June. Just wear the right riding gear. I used to ride my GS450 twin in the plains area (east of Glazier) and somethimes froze my n--ts off at night due to lack of proper clothing.
